The Tennessee Language Center offers language skills testing to organizations
If your organization needs job candidates with specific language skills, we can evaluate their proficiency
Or you can take the test if you are job hunting and would like to add the test results to your resume
Currently, we offer: Medical interpreter assessment (Spanish and Arabic) – Cost $265 Bilingual clerk skills assessment (Spanish and Arabic) – Cost $200 The medical interpreter assessment includes: a written exam covering ethics and medical and anatomical terminology; an oral translation of a written document; and a brief sample consecutive interpretation test that is thorough and very illustrative of the work environment
The bilingual clerk skills assessment includes: an oral translation of a written document; and a brief sample consecutive interpretation test that is thorough and very illustrative of the work environment
Included in the cost of each test is a detailed summary of the candidate’s results, including suggestions for professional development
If you have a specific need, we can work with you to develop a skills assessment for your position or for a specific language
